The Adventures of Petitmonstre

Friday morning, 7th September 2007

It’s Ann’s birthday today!

We (me and Sammie, Ann’s boyfriend) have been planning to surprise her since months ago and today’s finally the day! I’m so so so excited! *giggles non-stop*

I woke up a wee bit late so had to rush around a bit. Luckily the taxi uncle waited patiently outside my house for me to get ready. I had no time to dress up nicely and just had to make do with a blouse and jeans. After making absolutely sure I had brought along the cake and Ann’s present with me, we’re good to go!

After 20 minutes of braving the horrendous Friday morning jam, I arrived at the gates of my alma mater, Sekolah Aminuddin Baki or SAB for short or Sekolah Anak Babi for laughs. Met up with Sammie, Wei Mein and Fook Loy and we started locating Ann so we can proceed with our plan to shock and awe. lol. Okay actually our great plan is just to present her with a birthday cake.

In our haste, we quickly climb up Blok B. However, the lower Six Science classes were in Blok E. Lucky us. *snigger* So it was down 3 flights of stairs and up a four more at Blok E. No wonder the canteen sells such oily and junky food. To offset all those calories burnt by stairs-climbing I supposed. Anyways, I was so scared they will go to recess, leaving us with an empty classroom that I rushed up at top speed. When I arrived at her class I was panting really badly.

Anyhows, Ann was really surprised! ^-^ plan succeeded! Yay! In fact, she was so surprised and touched, she cried. Awww… I really miss her a lot. We don’t usually get to go out often and it’s good to be able to see her and do something nice for her ^^

There were a lot of hugging and cake eating. One of her classmates brought like, 3 cakes!!! And I myself (and 6 others kap funn) bought a Blueberry Cheesecake from Secret Recipe. (which I hope Ann likes)

It is fun being back in school! I love being able to see my old school mates cum best friends again. Plus xbn n kin meng is soo cute kekeke Sometimes I wished I decided to take form 6 haha however I realised some of the form 6 people seemed quiet/anti-social/un-hyper? lol so maybe not.

Anyways, Ann had some nice presents. I gave her a blue and white crystal bracelet. Sammie gave her a ring (actually its like a couple ring, he has one too), Wei Mein gave her a pencil case and her classmates (funn and co) gave her a corduroy jacket.

As they say, you’re only 18 once so I hope Ann Ann had a nice birthday and a wonderful surprise from us ^-^
